I’ve worked as a financial adviser since 1997 and a professional investor since the early 1980’s.
Before becoming a financial adviser, I served for ten years as a Senior Pastor. During this time the church flourished and I wrote articles and hosted a daily radio show.
Prior to that, I was involved in running and pioneering several family businesses with my brother and father.
I earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno and an M.A. in Biblical Studies from the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary.
My wife Jennifer and I have been married over 30 years and live in Fresno, CA. We have two children, Beth and Drew, who are both involved in successful careers.
Jennifer and I are involved in many non-profit organizations serving as directors as well as volunteering in other capacities.
We enjoy sailing in the summer. In the winter we both ski on ski patrol at a local resort. I also enjoy driving and showing my classic cars and hot rods.
I have trained in Shotokan Karate for 20 years achieving the rank of 3rd degree Black Belt along with numerous broken bones.
I am also a licensed pilot and certified scuba diver.
In addition Jennifer and I enjoy traveling and literally have been around the world.
